THE FUTILITY OF LIFE AS DERIVED FROM BIBLICAL WISDOM FROM THE BOOK OF ECCLESIASTES
In this world, the moment Adam and Eve sinned against the Lord, they were cursed: not to forget us their descendants: We were cursed!!! We were cursed to toil for this world from the moment we were born to the moment we will die. We are to toil for this world day and night without rest resulting in distress, anger and sickness. And yeah, we were cursed but then as we toil, God blesses us with fruit and the good words are that: Always take time and enjoy on the little or much that the Lord has blessed you with for example, you can take yourself out or do it with friends and family, go for a trip, buy new clothes, a pair of new shoes, anything that brings you happiness because this is your hard work but then don't indulge yourselves in sinful acts because the Lord has blessed you.
Sad thing is that we work so hard for this earth forgetting that we shall go as we came: WITH NOTHING!!!! Leaving all that you have worked for, your riches, your wealth to a successor who didn't even know how you toiled for them. What about those that work hard but gain less whatever they make is what goes, isn't this sad and overwhelming, making one helpless and hate life? All concluding to life that is useless.
But a piece of advice: Yes we are going back to our creator for judgement, But how have you gone? Have have you finished? You work so much for this earth that you forget your final home and destination which is HEAVEN. So my brethren, let's heed to the voice of the Lord when he speaks, let us listen to him because he is the law, the judge, our creator and our home. How can you go back to a home that you disobeyed, destroyed and ran away from? (DON'T FORGET THE TIME WILL COME WHEN THERE IS NO SITUATIONS LIKE THE PRODIGAL SON)
In conclusion, Ecclesiastes challenges us to reflect on the transient nature of life and seek deeper meaning of it.
